How this works, what's in scope, what isn't.

This is a fan project, not a service. There is no money involved, no warranties beyond best-effort, and the product ends with the tournament. By using it you agree to the basics below — they are short.

What you can do here

Create an account, predict, run a pool.

Create a free account, join or create private leagues with the people you love, submit a prediction per match in the upcoming round, and watch the standings settle as results come in. The same prediction sheet feeds every league you are in.

How predictions work

Sealed at the first whistle of the round.

Predictions for a round lock the moment that round's earliest match kicks off. No edits after that, no exceptions, no manual overrides. Scoring is automated by a cron that runs after each match finishes. If a sports-data feed corrects a final score after the fact, scores are recomputed against the corrected result.

Be a decent member

Civil display names, one account per person.

Pick a display name your friends will recognise — no slurs, no impersonation, no spam. One account per person; multiple accounts to game a league's standings is the one form of cheating the pool cannot tolerate. Don't post your league's invite link in public places — invite tokens can leak that way and a leaked token grants join access until the tournament locks at kickoff.

Closing your account

Delete on request; standings preserved.

You can ask to delete your account via the feedback form. When we process the request your record is anonymised — your email and IP hash are scrubbed, your display name becomes "Former player", and the link to your Clerk identity is removed — but the points you scored stay on the league leaderboard so the standings don't unravel for everyone else in the group.

No warranty

Best effort, no promises.

This is a small project built and maintained by one person on the side. We do our best to keep the app responsive during match windows and the scoring engine correct, but we make no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. If a sports-data feed publishes a wrong result and our scoring follows it, the only path is the upstream correction. We are not liable for any consequence of using the app beyond refunding what you paid to use it (zero).

Disputes

Reach out first, please.

If you think the pool mis-scored a match, a league member is behaving badly, or anything else has gone sideways, please send a note through the feedback form before anything else. We are a small project and we will do our best to make it right.
